Entrevista a Masashi Kishimoto ANTI NARUSAKU

Description

You know, as a NaruSaku fan listening to some of these statement Kishimoto has made about his romance subplots, he is kind of reminding me of George Lucas here. What I men by that is that he claims to have had certain things planned out from the beginning of his story, but if you go back and do the research then the evidence clearly does not support that claim. Lucas's earliest draft of "The Star Wars" clearly had 'Annikin Starkiller' and Darth Vader as separate characters, and Vader didn't even start off as a Sith originally, nor even a cyborg; all of those ideas were clearly combined into a singular character in later drafts. And then there was the sibling bond between Luke and Leia...which he CLEARLY had no idea about until "Return of the Jedi."

My point is that I suspect Kishimoto figured things out as he went along (as all writers do) and now he is claiming to have had it that way in his head from the beginning.

If he honestly wanted Hinata to be Naruto's eventual wife from so early on, then yes, she really should have had a more prominent role int he story than just one of Team 7's closest friends. By establishing Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura as the members of Team 7, what you are doing is establishing this as a trinity story. The problem was, sadly, I just don't think Kishimoto ever really came to like his lead heroine that much, and that is why she got the shaft.

Why do I ship NaruSaku so much? Because I feel that, based on the structure that Part II was taking, that it would have made a much more natural and interesting story. Sakura was meant to grow up and, in the spirit of feminism, she needed to see that Sasuke just wasn't any good for her. Plus, lets face it, the series is titled "Naruto," so shouldn't it be about him getting what HE wants by the end. I'm sorry SasuSaku fans, I really am, but I really do feel that Naruto deserved Sakura way more than Sasuke did.
